Susan Farmer Peace, age 70, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born August 9, 1955, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Monroe Farmer and Fannie Whitworth Farmer. She was married to Ralph Larry Peace until his death in 2019. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Tony and Paul Farmer and her sister, Joyce Moore.

Susan and her late husband were co-owners of Peace's Cafe. She will be remembered for always loving on others.

She is survived by her sons, Jonathan Matthew Peace, of Anderson, SC and Joshua Shawn Peace of California; brother, James Farmer of Anderson, SC; sisters, Shelby McCoy of Anderson, SC, Deborah (O.D.) Hart of Iva, SC and Sandra Farmer of Anderson, SC.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 1:00-1:45 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
