Susan Lorey Phillips, 71, of Easley, SC, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, July 30, 2020. Born December 19, 1948 in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Michael Francis Lorey and Doris Bruce Lorey. Susan spent her career as a registered nurse and was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Charles Larry Phillips; daughters, Elizabeth Lorey Phillips and Margaret Susan "Maggie" Phillips; sisters, Betty Lorey Hair and her husband, Jud E. Hair; mother-in-law, Alice Masters Phillips; brother-in-law, Roger K. Phillips and his wife, Deborah B. Phillips; nephews, Patrick and Chris Hair; and nieces, Jessica Hair and Courtney Phillips. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 3, 2020 at 11:00 am in the chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Judson King and Rev. Dan Batson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to PruittHealth Hospice, 1510 N.
