Susan Marie Pitts, 78, of Central, SC passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born July 9, 1939 in Pickens, SC, she was a daughter of the late Jessie E. Mayfield and the late Edna Whitt Mayfield. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Patsy Macon, Ed Mayfield and Ricky Mayfield. She was a retired school teacher from District 5 and a member of North Anderson Community Church Presbyterian. She is survived by her husband, Lane Pitts; daughter, Patti Pitts of Central, SC; sisters, June Rochester and Shelby Jean Ramey. The family will receive friends from 3-5pm Sunday, July 1, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Monday at North Anderson Community Church Presbyterian with Rev.
