Susan Carol Hastings Potter, age 67, loving wife to the late Gregory A. Potter, of Anderson, SC, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021, at her residence. Born February 9, 1954, in Minneapolis, MN, she was the daughter of the late Aaron L. Hastings and Elray E. Payne Hastings. She was a retired insurance agent. She is survived by her daughter, Jayme Burdette (Chris); nephews, Jason Hastings (Tammy), and Joshua Hastings; and five grandchildren, Jarod, Chelsea, Paige, and Savannah Burdette, and Paisley Miller. In addition to her parents, and husband, Gregory, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jim and Fred Hastings. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery with Chaplain Craig Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
