Sybil Gwendolyn Fitze Ginn, age 82, of Anderson, SC, passed away Friday, February 24, 2023, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born October 10, 1940, in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Glenn Thomas Fitze and Eloise Tate Fitze Cronk. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Whytsell. Sybil was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved family trips to the beach and the Biltmore House and especially enjoyed family dinners on Sundays. She was known for her love of others and being a wonderful caregiver. She was a faithful member of Midway Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, James S. Ginn, Sr.; sons, James S. Ginn, Jr., Johnnie T. Ginn (Melanie Pitts), and Andy Ginn (Beth); daughters, Gwendolyn Jeanette Burris (Steve) and Angela Ginn Berry (David Somers); grandchildren, Drew Westfall (Emily), Dale Westfall (Kelly Stewart), Austin Westfall (Tarin), Andrew Ginn, Jr. (Brianna), Cameron Berry, Katherine Ginn, Emily Ginn, Mallori Berry, and AnnaKate Berry; and great grandchildren, Elizabeth Westfall and Aiden Westfall. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 28, 2023, from Noon until 1:30 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel with Dr. John McCallum officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the residence.
