Sybil Stone Guinn, age 96, of Heartland Health Care of Greenville, SC, formerly of Anderson, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 8, 2025.

She was born on December 10, 1928, in Seneca, SC, and was the daughter of the late John Henry "Babe" Stone and Lessie Minton Stone. She was also preceded in death by her husband W.E. "Bill" Guinn.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Powell Pitcher (Ken) of Greenville, SC, and Nancy Powell Flint (Joe) of Flowers, WV; 5 grandchildren, Tiffany Sherbert (Pete), Michael Pitcher (Terri), Sonya Flint, Shelly Flint, and Travis Flint; and 6 great grandchildren.

She is also survived by one sister, Millie Tillotson of Seneca, SC, and was preceded in death by sisters, Grace Powell, Nell Stone, Pauline Bolton; and one brother, Roderick Stone.

Mrs. Guinn enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was retired as a self-employed tax accountant, then later retired from American Security Company.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 11:00 am at Old Silver Brook Cemetery with Martha Watson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.

The family will be at their respective homes.
