Tamara Michelle Thacker of Anderson, SC, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. She was born June 4, 1973, in Atlanta, GA and was the daughter of Danny Little and the late Marjoria Little.
Tamara was an incredibly special person who was deeply loved and well thought of by everyone, fortunate enough to know her. A devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, cherished daughter, sister, friend, and compassionate registered nurse, she touched countless lives with her caring heart and genuine kindness.
Tamara loved her family deeply. She especially treasured her two grandsons and the time she spent with her children. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life-thrifting with Grace, traveling to the mountains and the beach, cooking for the people she loved, and filling her home and yard with beautiful plants. Her dogs were also dearly loved and an important part of her life.
Tamara is survived by her loving husband, Philip R. Thacker; her devoted son, Jakob Wilson and his wife, Reid, and their children, Charles Wayne Wilson and Augustine Reid Wilson; her beloved daughter, Sarah Grace Wilson; her father, James Danny Little; and her brother, Jason Little and his wife, Crystal.
The family will greet friends and family on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at The McDougald Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A service to commemorate Tamara's life will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Green Pond Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Roberts Cemetery.
Tamara's life touched many people, and she will be profoundly missed. May she be remembered for the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
