Mrs. Tammie Maxwell Long, age 45, of Anderson died on Friday evening, January 15th, 2016 at her home. She was born on December 8th, 1970 in Dallas, Texas. Her grandchildren were her passion and spending time with them was her favorite activity. She loved being "Nannie". Tammie is survived by her mother: Yevonne Kirkland Timms of Belton, SC; her husband: Kenneth E. Long of Anderson, SC; her son: Matthew Long and his wife Felicia of Liberty, SC; her brothers: Jason Maxwell and wife Annette of Anderson, SC, Sean Cassady and wife Eesha of Elberton, GA, and Jamie Timms and wife Jodi of Belton, SC; one sister: Diana Kay of Greenville, SC; one brother-in-law: Jimmy Beasley of Anderson; one sister-in-law: Karen Mauldin of Oregon; her mother-in-law: Louise Brooks of Anderson, SC; three grandchildren: Alexa Pagan, Braylen Long, and Hunter Long; and one cousin: Tina Nichols. Tammie was preceded in death by her grandmother: Edith Kirkland. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., January 18th, 2016 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. Interment will follow the funeral in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Anderson, SC. The Long family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m on Sunday evening, January 17th, 2016 at the funeral home.
