Tammy Jean Stephenson, 56, of Six Mile, SC, passed away, Thursday, December 24, 2020, at Pruitt Health-Pickens. Born October 31, 1964, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Claude Arnold Stephenson and Jeanette Dowis Campbell. Tammy enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics in bowling and swimming. She was a joy to be around and was loved by all who knew her, especially her family. She is survived by her brothers, Steve Stephenson (Sherry) and Tim Stephenson (Denise); sister-in-law, Betty Ann Stephenson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Michael Lee Stephenson. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics South Carolina, 109 Oak Park Dr., Irmo, SC 29063.
