ANDERSON Tammy Asmussen Wilson, age 53, of 100 W. Whitner Street, passed away at her residence on Thursday, August 20, 2015. Born in Myrtle Beach, SC on March 23, 1962, she was the daughter of Marge Asmussen of Anderson, and the late Richard Asmussen. She attended Tri-County Technical College and received a B. A. Degree from Clemson University. Mrs. Wilson was employed by AnMed Health Medical Center where she worked as a registered nurse until her retirement. She attended New Spring Church. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband, Eddie K. Wilson of the home; a son, Kyle B. Wilson of Anderson; a daughter, Courtney E. Wilson of Murrells Inlet, SC; a brother, Michael Asmussen of Anderson; a sister, Lynn Kay and her husband, Steven, of Anderson; and a granddaughter, Hayden Deas of Murrells Inlet, SC. In addition to her father, Tammy was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Leonard. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at 1 PM at the Committal Shelter at M. J. "Dolly" Cooper Veteran's Cemetery, with Rev. Dr. Bob Marcaurelle and Rev. David Wilson officiating. The family will be at the residence of Victor M. Wilson, 623 W. Fredericks Street, and will receive friends at M. J. "Dolly" Cooper Veteran's Cemetery following the service. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Wilson may be made to A. I. M.
