Teasley. Mr. Harper was the owner and operator of Harper's Meats and was a lifelong farmer. He attended Andersonville Baptist Church.In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Linda Hedden Harper, of the home; his son, Scott Harper and wife, Sonya Harper, of Anderson; two grandchildren: Scott Allen Harper and wife, Amanda Leigh Harper, and Taylor Lee Harper; one great granddaughter, Abigail Kimsey Harper; one sister, Azalee H. Bridges and husband, Joe Bridges of Pendleton; and one brother, Mike Harper and wife, Vicky Harper of Easley.Mr. Harper was predeceased by his father and his first wife, Patricia Snipes Harper.The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 5, 2008, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Bruce Evans and the Reverend Terry Collins.
