Teresa Beck Nix Harrison, 78, of Anderson, SC passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Rainey Hospice House. Born December 11, 1940 in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Virgil and O'Dell Beavers Nix. She was the widow of James M. Harrison and was also preceded in death by her sister, Faye Williams; brother, Kenneth Atchley and grandchild, Barrett Beck. Teresa was previously employed at Harbor Inn Restaurant in Anderson where she was loved by her co-workers and customers. She had also worked as a server at Ryan's Steakhouse. She was passionate about the care of animals. Her kind heart and sweet spirit will be missed by her children, grandchildren and all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Bill Beck, Jr. (Kim) of Anderson, SC; daughter, Sherry Yarid (Nick) of Clemson, SC; sister, Billie Parker of Pendleton, SC and three grandchildren, Parker Beck, Nicholas and Natalie Yarid. The graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Memory Gardens in Clemson, SC with Rev. Dwight Greene officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Barrett's Place, PO Box 408, Pendleton, SC 29670 or Friends of the Park.
