Teresa Gail Sanders, 56, of Iva passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at AnMed Health Medical Center with her family by her side. She is the daughter of Barbara Jean Grogan Messer of Anderson and the late Milliard Pinckney Grogan. She was preceded in death by the late husband, Gary Mack Sanders; her brothers, Terry Lee Grogan and Jerry Lamar Grogan. She is survived by two daughters, Anna Brooke Sanders and Kayla Danielle Sanders and by one son, Christopher Mack Sanders and fianc, Mike Mitchem; three sisters, Linda Ann Vickery (Leonard), Jackie Mae Chasteen (Kenneth), and Judy Fay Grogan, all of Anderson, SC; two brothers, James Milliard Grogan (Stacy) and Bruce Wayne Grogan (Kathy), all of Anderson, SC. The service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2016, with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating. The family is at the home of her mother, Barbara Messer, 202 Beauregard Ave., Anderson, SC and will receive friends at the funeral home, prior to the service on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
