Teresa Ann Evans Williams, age 57, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Emory University Hospital.

Born July 31, 1967, in Tyler, TX, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Edward Evans and Mary Ann Standridge Evans. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Hannah Denise Martin.

Teresa was a graduate of Clemson University and was the owner and operator of Williams Accounting Solutions. She loved working with people, Hallmark movies, mystery shows and visiting the Biltmore Estate. She also enjoyed being in nature, mountain bike riding, hiking, and camping. She was a faithful member of Covenant Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and was a former Sunday School teacher. She was a "salt of the Earth" woman who was wise, strong-willed and gave the best advice. She also had a servant's heart, giving selflessly of herself; the definition of a Proverbs 31 woman. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother to her three daughters. She loved her family deeply and unconditionally. Most of all, Teresa loved the Lord and would share God's word and words of encouragement every chance she got.

She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, M. Scott Williams; daughters, Christina Ann Martin and Meagan Martin; siblings, Marc Evans (Mary), Rebecca Bennett (Rodney), and Keith Evans (Amanda); nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Covenant Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Steve Silvey officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
