Terrence H. Both, age 88, of Townville, SC, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born October 30, 1933, in Queens, NY, he was the only child of the late Henry Both and Eleanor Padova Both. Terry was a graduate of the University of Alabama and received his master's degree from Adelphi University. He was a retired high school social studies teacher having taught for many years in Hicksville, NY. Following retirement, Terry and his wife moved to Townville where they have lived for the past 25 years. He was a talented musician playing both the piano and electric organ. He used his talents often playing at weddings and bar mitzvahs. Terry was a devoted life-long catholic and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife devoted wife of 63 years Catherine Acierno Both; children, Nancy Both of Westminster, SC, and Larry Both (Marie) of Valrico, FL; grandchildren, David (Hailey), Michelle, Lee, and Jeannette; great grandson, Damien; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Fantasia (Richard); nephew, Rich Fantasia; and his toy poodle, Reggie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Steven Both. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 11, 2022, from 10:30am-12:30pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:00 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Philip S. Gillespie officiating. Interment will be at a later date at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
