Terry Dean Winters, age 74, of Anderson, SC, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at his home.

Born February 8, 1950, in Pembroke, GA, he was the son of the late Hubert Herbert Winters and Jessie Mae Murphy Winters. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Darnell Winters.

Terry was a veteran of both the United States Marine Corps and the Army and served during the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver and retired from the US Postal Service. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, John Wayne westerns, and old country music, especially Merle Haggard. He was a member of Welcome Baptist Church.

He is survived by his children, Terry Winters and Kelley Winters both of Anderson; brother, Chad Winters (Beth) of Beaufort, SC; sisters, Rhonda Winters and Sarah Hember (Eddie) both of Myrtle Beach, SC; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

No services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Welcome Baptist Church, 4800 Clemson Blvd., Pendleton, SC 29670.
