She was the daughter of the late William Wylie Baker and the late Lula Mae Stevens Baker. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, DeWhitt Bradley. During her lifetime she worked for Springs Industries and the Sunshine House. She was a former member of Lakeview Baptist Church and Central Baptist Church, both of York. Mrs. Bradley was a member of First Baptist Church, Calhoun Falls. She was a graduate of Thornwell High School in Clinton, SC.She is survived by the following: her sons, Vernon D. (Pat) Bradley of Rainbow City, AL; Herman T. (Barbara) Bradley of Hodges, SC; and William A. (Terry) Bradley of Mary Esther, FL; her daughter, Shannon (Glenn) Fisher of Greenwood, SC; four sisters, Esther Stutts and Aliene Baker of Rock Hill, SC; Caroline Sweet of Midway, GA; and Rozella Rimes of Savannah, GA; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Swindell, a brother, Paul Baker, and half-brothers Arthur, George, Emmett, and R.E. Baker.A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012, at 2PM at Lakeview Memory Gardens of York, York, SC, with the Reverend Herman Bradley officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. The family will be at their respective homes.
