Thelma Louise Kellett, 90, of Anderson, SC, passed away, Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born July 16, 1930, in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Henry Lee Watt and Nellie Stowe Watt. She was the widow of William Tensie Kellett. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Thelma was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. She was a founding member of the Booster Club at Eastside High School in Greenville, SC and was a member of Salem Baptist Church where she formerly served as the treasurer.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane Casey (Joe) and Debbie Sheriff (Stanley); 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, Robert Lamar Kellett.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 17, 2021, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Monday, January 18, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Greenville Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dr. Charles Holland officiating. Social distancing will be observed at both the visitation and graveside and masks are encouraged.
The family will be at the residence.
