MOORE IVA, SC Thelma Bruce Moore, age 82, went home to Heaven on Sunday, February 02, 2014. Born in Iva, SC she was the daughter of the late Hiram"Scud" Bruce and the late Edna Morgan Bruce. She graduated from Iva High School, The Carolina School of Commerce and worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She was a member of Poplar Spring Baptist Church. She is survived by her children: Jack C. Moore (Ellen) of Charleston, SC, Debbie M. Craft (Jack) of Panama City, FL, S. Bruce Moore and Mark A. McLeskey both of Iva, SC, sisters, Jean Evans of Starr, SC, and Christine Bruce of Iva, SC, eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael A. McLeskey and an infant great grandson, Samuel Moore Giordano, brother, Scuddy Bruce, sister, Irene Bruce Moore. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at Poplar Spring Baptist Church with Pastor James Rodgers, Jack Moore and Bruce Evans officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
