August 4, 1913 - February 14, 2006 ANDERSON, SCMr. Thomas Coy McCurley Jr., age 92 formerly of 307 Dogwood Drive, Anderson, SC, husband of the late Kathleen Shore McCurley, died Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at the Hospice House in Anderson, SC.Born in Hartwell, GA on August 4, 1913, Mr. McCurley was a son of the late Thomas Coy McCurley and Beatrice Osborne McCurley. He was a retired car dealer and a member of North Anderson Baptist Church.He is survived by a son, Donald T. McCurley of Anderson, SC; daughters, Joy Adams of Anderson, SC and Anne Montgomery of Fort Worth, TX; a brother, Carl McCurley of Atlanta, GA; a sister, Betty Watkins of Williston, SC; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John McCurley.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverends Bill Rigsby and Bill Jordan. Interment will follow in Old Silverbrook Cemetery in Anderson.The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.The family will be at their respective homes.
