THOMAS MOBLEY August 22, 1921 - June 23, 2008 ANDERSON, SCMr. Thomas Mabry Mobley, age 86, of 104 Clarence Avenue, husband of the late Gerrell Moss Mobley, died Monday, June 23, 2008 at the University Hospital in Augusta, GA.Born in Iva, SC on August 22, 1921, Mr. Mobley was the son of the late Daniel Simpson Mobley and Cora Carathers Mobley. He was a United States Army World War II veteran and was a retired trainer and instructor with Lowenstein Mills in Anderson. Mr. Mobley was a member of Orrville Baptist Church.Survivors include his son, James R. Mobley, MD., and his wife, Rachel of Evans, GA and two grandsons, Thomas Moss Mobley and his wife, Angel of Augusta, GA and J. Rhett Mobley of Atlanta. He is also survived by two great grandsons, Aiden and Sawyer Mobley.In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters.A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 12:30 pm at New Silverbrook Cemetery officiated by the Reverend Dr. Wendell Bannister. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Orrville Baptist Church, 2620 S.
