PAT MURDOCK November 13, 1929 - July 10, 2006ANDERSON, SCMr. Thurston Patrick Murdock, age 76, husband of Florence F. Murdock of 3683 E. River Street, died Monday, July 10, 2006 at his residence.Born in Anderson, SC on November 13, 1929, Mr. Murdock was a son of the late Willis Pruitt Murdock and Alberta Whitaker Murdock. He was the retired manager of Pizza Way and was a former Brick Mason. He was a member of Orrville Baptist Church where he served as Deacon.Survivors include his wife, Florence F. Murdock of the home; sons Gregg Murdock and Danny Murdock, both of Anderson, SC; a daughter, Julie Gillen of Baltimore, MD; step-children, Lynn Ferrell of Belton, Jane Shirley of Williamston and Dale Ferrell of Pensacola, FL; sisters, Lillian Pruitt of Anderson, SC and Lucille Pruitt of Liberty, SC and grandchildren, Ryan Murdock, Heather Vaughn, Justin Gillen, Ivy Thacker, Thomas Shirley and Kaitlynn Ferrell.His first wife, Margie Garrett Murdock and a brother, Randolph Murdock, preceded him in death.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Wendell Bannister and Mr. Gregg Murdock.
