Thurston Joseph Shirley, III, age 54, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Born in Pendleton, SC, on July 13, 1961, Joseph was the son of Sally Kirkland Shirley and the late Dr. Thurston Joseph Shirley, Jr. He was currently employed with Automotive Service Associates. Including his mother, Joseph is survived by his wife, Wanda M. Shirley of the home; their son, Joseph Brent Shirley of Anderson, SC; three sisters, Dawn S. Compton (Chris) of Seneca, SC, Jane S. Isbell (Randy), and Ann S. Mills (Keith) all of Pendleton, SC. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Willie M. Brow; a nephew, Joseph M. Mills; and a niece Crystal Dawn Martin The Graveside Service will be held at Memory Gardens, Clemson, SC, on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 11:00 am with the Reverend Stephen Braswell officiating.
