Mr. Timothy Gordon Gassaway, 57, of 104 Springside Circle, Anderson, SC passed away on July 28th, 2015 at An-Med Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC. He was born to the late Clyde Gordon and Bobbie Saylors Gassaway on September, 21, 1957 in Anderson, SC. He graduated from McDuffie High School and attended Tri-County Technical College before beginning his career at Michelin Tire Company in Anderson where he worked for 38 years. He loved the sport of fishing and spending his free time on Lake Hartwell. He also cherished his time with his puppy "Lucy". He attended New Prospect Baptist Church in Anderson, SC. He is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Mrs. Jo Faith Gassaway; one daughter: Brooke Burczycki and husband Dennis of Anderson, SC; two sisters: Jan Winstead and husband Smitty of Anderson, SC and Robin Ladd and husband Dean of Liberty, SC; two grandchildren: Timothy Moyer Gassaway and Brookelyn Addison Hunnicutt; his mother-in-law: Mrs. Jimmie Embler; his sister-in-law: Dawn Hammond; nieces and nephews: Savannah Ladd, Tara Waters and husband Greg, Lindsey Wilkins and husband Reid; Ethan Ladd, John Drake, and Matt Hammond; three great nephews: Eli Waters, Walker Wilkins, and Luke Drake; and one great niece: Katy Drake. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2015 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Turner officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. prior to the service on Friday, July 31, 2015 at the funeral home. At other times the family will be at their residence.
