Erwin McBryde "Todd" Crittenden, Jr., age 86, of Anderson, SC, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Rainey Hospice House.

Born April 3, 1937, in Woodruff, SC, he was the son of the late Erwin McBryde Crittenden, Sr. and Mavel Pearson Crittenden.

Todd was a graduate of Ware Shoals High School where he lettered in several sports and Clemson College Class of 1959 where he was on the golf team. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Todd was the plant manager at J.P. Stevens for over 20 years and retired in sales from Barnett Southern. He was known for his optimistic personality and great attitude. He was an avid golfer, member of Boscobel Golf and Country Club, and Clemson Tiger fan. Most of all Todd enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Faye Rhodes Crittenden; children, David Todd Crittenden (Laurie Sieve) and Debra Crittenden Tidmore (Randy); stepdaughter, Lindsey Cooper (Ted); sister, Margaret Ann "Bonnie" Martin; grandchildren, Michel Humphrey (Ali), Dan Crittenden, Justin Tidmore (Taryn), Zack Tidmore (Abby), Catherine Petersen, and Sam Petersen; and great grandchildren, Evie, Ben, Lucas, and Rylee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Shannon Crittenden.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 1:00 until 4:00 pm at The McDougald Family Center, 2303 N. Main Street, Anderson, SC.
