IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tommy
Campbell
November 19, 1942 – October 29, 2025
Harold Earl "Tommy" Campbell, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. A devoted husband and a cherished father, Tommy leaves behind a legacy of unwavering love and support that will resonate with those who knew him.
Born November 19, 1942, in Belton, SC, he was a son of the late Harold Leonard Campbell and Ella Mae Malone Campbell King. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Lynda Day; and stepfather, James Harold King.
Tommy dedicated 37 years working as an inspector for South Carolina Meat Inspections Services, earning the respect of his colleagues and contributing to the safety of the community. He took pride in his work, which reflected his strong sense of responsibility and commitment. He was a faithful member of Neals Creek Baptist Church.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Tommy had a deep passion for photography, capturing the beauty of life through his lens. He found joy in taking cruises and exploring new horizons, but his heart truly belonged to the mountains. His beloved mountain cabin provided he and his family with solace and inspiration, where he could enjoy the tranquility and majesty of nature. He delighted in attending the Highlands Christmas parade, an event that filled him with holiday spirit and joy.
Tommy's greatest pride, however, was his family. He was the perfect father, always giving 100% of himself to ensure the happiness and well-being of his loved ones. His nurturing spirit and dedication will be remembered as a guiding light for his family as they navigate their lives without him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Faye Finley Campbell; daughter, Amanda Kimberly Perry (Chad); grandchildren, Ian Perry (Kaelan) and Brandon Perry; great granddaughter, Ella Grace Perry; and brother, James M. King.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 12:30-1:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Jason Dorriety officiating. A private family interment will be held at Garden of Memories in Belton.
