TOMMIE MITCHELL July 10, 1916 - October 18, 2005ELBERTON, GAMrs. Tommie Gladys Maxwell Mitchell, age 89 formerly of Antreville, SC, wife of the late Thomas Burton 'T' Mitchell, died Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at the Elbert Memorial Hospital in Elberton, GA.Born in Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Zenos Maxwell and Mamie Lowe Maxwell. She was a member of Rocky River Baptist Church and was a homemaker.She is survived by sons, Mike Mitchell of Anderson, SC and Bob Mitchell of Belton, SC; daughters, Pat Harrison and Sue Norman, both of Abbeville, SC and Beth Mitchell of Starr, SC; brothers, Vincent Maxwell and Clyde Maxwell, both of Iva, SC; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Lucian Maxwell, Olin Maxwell and Haskell Maxwell and a sister, Wilma Parnell A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at 3:00 pm at Rocky River Baptist Church Cemetery in Iva, SC by the Rev. Dr. Kirt Mitchell.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, October 20, 2005 from 1:00 pm to 2:15 pm.The family will be at their respective homes.Flowers are optional.
