Tony "55" Burkett, age 61, was a caring husband. He left the world in the presence of our Lord and Savior on September 17, 2023. He was born December 19, 1961, in Greenwood, SC, to Jimmy and Annette Burkett. He worked for over forty years at Belton Industries. He enjoyed bowling and golf. His relationship with God, family, and friends was essential to his life. Surviving is his mother, Annette Burkett; twin brother, Tim Burkett; sister, Sharon Ashley, all of Honea Path, SC; and his wife, Dot Burkett of Williamston, SC. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Burkett. The family will host a memorial service on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Bible Deliverance Church, 1631 Hwy 29, Anderson, SC. His wife requests no visitors but time to reflect on their twenty-one years of marriage. However, other family will be at their respective homes. For the service, Dot requests that you wear your favorite sport shirt or polo, in honor of Tony's love for sports.
