Born in Anderson, he was a son of Ressie Mae Hackett of Anderson and the late James Edward Hackett. He was a member of Antreville Church of God.In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Rose Hackett; son, Nicholas Eugene Nichols (Casey); 3 sisters; 2 brothers and 6 grandchildren.He was predeceased by his father and one brother.The Funeral Service will be held at The Antreville Church of God on Wed., Jan. 6, 2010 at 3:00 pm with Rev. James J. Carter officiating with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service.The family will be at the residence.The McDougald Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
