Abbeville, SC Tony Warren Herring, age 69, husband of Connie Burton Herring, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014. Born in Anderson, SC, on January 29, 1945, he was the son of the late J. Varone Herring and the late Doris Warren Herring. Mr. Herring served in the United States Navy and was retired from Milliken. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; daughter, Wendy Ann Herring of Sandy Springs; sons, Michael Warren Herring of Fort Hood,TX, John Herring of Anderson, SC, Jim Herring of Anderson, SC, and Adam Hayes of Abbeville, SC; sister, Janice K. Herring of Bainbridge, GA, and eleven grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the residence, 2701 Lane Ave., Anderson, SC on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
