Tonya Michelle Murray, age 47, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Agape House of Lexington. Born December 23, 1974, in Greenville, she was the daughter of Larry Wayne Murray and the late Doris Estelle Turner Murray. Tonya attended Westside High School. She loved fashion and was passionate about anything related to Hollywood. Her hobbies included paracording and coloring and she loved angels and butterflies. Tonya loved her family and her dog Harley who was very protective of her. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a happy person, a jokester and most importantly, a fighter. In addition to her father, she is survived by her fianc, Andy Nesmith; sister, Mitzi Vazquez; half-sister, Tina Selman; half-brothers, Teddy Moore, Timmy Moore, and Justin Elrod; nieces, Cielo, Isabella, Angel, and Savannah; and many aunts and uncles. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Greenwood, SC. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Eastside Cancer Institute for the wonderful care provided to Tonya.
