Trenton Allen McNaull, age 48, of Anderson, entered into the Church Triumphant upon his death at AnMed Health Medical Center on Thursday, April 14, 2022. Now he is with the angels in Heaven. His death was so peaceful, surrounded by the love of his family by his side. He came into this world on January 14, 1974, in Atlanta, GA, the second child of Reverend James E. McNaull and Pamela Andrews McNaull.
While his older sister may have been the academician in the family, Trent was plenty smart enough, and he was quite the athlete. Trent was a 1993 graduate of Morrow High School, Morrow, GA, where he was a star on the varsity football team, The Morrow Mustangs. Upon graduation, Trent received a full football scholarship to play the position of linebacker for the Tennessee Technological University Golden Eagles. He graduated from TTU in the Class of 1997, with a bachelor's degree in business and management.
Trent was very active in his church growing up in Georgia, after all his dad was the pastor of the church. He had many friends throughout his school years in high school and college. He was always there with and for his friends. It has been noted that Trent never spoke ill of anyone. His words were always kind, he had a quiet and friendly manner which endeared him to others. That quality should not be misunderstood, however on the football field, as there he was a fierce competitor who played the game to win.
Early in his college career, Trent met and established a close friendship with a beautiful girl from the State of Iowa, and who had received a scholarship to play volleyball at Tennessee Tech. That friendship moved on to become a relationship. Pamela Goldensoph and Trent were married in Davenport, Iowa following their graduation. Together, they had a beautiful daughter, Kendall Faith McNaull, who is attending Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with a volleyball scholarship. Trent was so proud of Kendall.
Following his graduation from TTU, Trent was employed by Roadway Trucking Company as a dock manager in Nashville, Tennessee. Later, wanting to get back to the place he called home, Trent accepted a positon with United Parking Company in Atlanta where he quickly rose through the ranks of Atlanta area management for the Company. He was also in a management role with Central Parking which ultimately became InterPark, Atlanta. He later was a partner in and served as a project manager for a real estate development company in Jonesboro, GA, Community Development Partners (CDP). One of the company's grand projects was the development of the historic Mitchell House Hotel in Thomasville, GA. While in Atlanta, he unleashed his entrepreneurial spirit when he purchased a neighborhood restaurant in Douglasville, GA and later, two coin laundromats. Trent was a member of North Avenue Presbyterian Church in Atlanta.
He moved to Anderson in 2012 and eventually served as a night manager at the Day's Inn and became a partner in a pizza restaurant in Elberton, GA. Trent was an avid sports fan, and his teams included the Atlanta Falcons and the Atlanta Braves. He loved being on the water, and particularly his many trips to Myrtle Beach or any beach for that matter. Trent was an amazing water skier.
He is survived by his parents Rev. and Mrs. James E. McNaull of The Villages, FL; his sister, Tara Gail McNaull Dirato and her husband Chris, also of The Villages; his daughter, Kendall Faith McNaull of Eldridge, Iowa; and two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Stafford and Mahomes. Also surviving is his former wife, Pam Goldensoph, who is the mother of their beautiful daughter; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a good friend of many years, Daniel E. Buchanan, of Anderson.
Trent was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Blair and Harriett Andrews, his paternal grandparents, Eugene and Maybeth McNaull; and an uncle, Ronald Andrews.
