Troy was a loving and happy little boy who was a 5th grade student at Wright Elementary School. He loved to work in the shop with his Papa and Daddy and especially loved antique tractors. Troy played paintball with his Daddy and buddies from Michelin and was also an aspiring artist and loved going to the lake, camping and hunting with his Uncle Bryan. Troy's passion was riding his dirt bike. He was loved very much and will be terribly missed.Troy was preceded in death by his grandmother, Faith Bishop of California. Troy leaves behind his parents, Karleen and Scott Mattison and his brothers, Clint and Ryan; his grandparents, Ronnie and Lucille Mattison of Anderson, SC, John Bishop and Judy Bishop of Sacramento, CA, great-grandmother, Elsie Mattison of Donalds, SC. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Brian and Leighann Mattison and their son, Levi of Belton, SC, Sheila and Bryan Goodwin and their daughter, Mattie Claire of Easley, SC, Ruth and James Huffman and their daughters, Faith and Katie of Morgan Hill, CA, Cheri and Marselo Sianez and their son, Austin of Sacramento, CA and Marcia Bishop of Sacramento, CA.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 4:00 pm at Mount Bethel Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Ron Culbertson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Honorary Escort will be Ebenezer Fire Department and Staff of Wright Elementary School. The family will receive friends at Mount Bethel Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Ebenezer Fire Department, c/o Mount Bethel Baptist Church, 2603 Due West Highway, Belton, SC 29627.The family will be at the home of his grandparents, 3720 Trail Road, Anderson, SC.
