Bolt of 106 Palancar Court, died Friday, June 30, 2006 in Anderson.Born in Pendleton, SC, he was a son of the late Hugh E. Bolt and Bernice C. Bolt. He retired from the automobile industry, most recently Trucks & More of Anderson, formerly the General Manger of Judson T. Minyard Inc., and corporate general manager of Dick Brooks, Inc. He was a United States Air Force veteran who served in the Korean Conflict and was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Billie D. Bolt of the home; daughters, Lisa A. Powell, Karen B. Ayers and her husband Chris and Dawn Bolt-Bray; a brother, Ralph Bernard Bolt and his wife, Vicki; five grandchildren, Brian Foster, Khristie Foster, Allison Ayers, Emily Ayers and Christopher Ayers; two great-grandchildren, Payton Foster and Emily Foster; nephew, Kevin Brett Bolt and his wife, Leslie; niece, Tracy B. Kelly and her husband, Doug. His favorite companions Cooper and Peanut also survive him.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2006 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Guy Altizer and Pastor Guy Roberts.
