Born in Anderson, SC on March 8, 1948, Mr. Bowman was a son of the late Frank Bowman and Elizabeth McCoy King. He served in the United States Navy and was employed with Burroughs & Chapin for many years. He liked sports especially the University of North Carolina. He loved spending time with family and friends and working in his yard.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Gina Bowman; a granddaughter, Jessica Bowman and a sister, Shoner Scarborough.He is survived by his best friend and life partner, LouAnn Long of Conway, SC.; two daughters, Nikki Bowman of Marion, NC and Jennifer Chaney of Shelby, NC; three grandchildren, Nevaeh, Brooklyn and Blake.
