Main StreetAnderson, SC 29621Standard Obituary Mr. Tyre MauldinApril 27, 1922 - October 22, 2005Iva, SCMr. Tyre Mauldin, age 83, husband of Beulah Campbell Mauldin of 100 Jones Circle, Iva, SC, Died Saturday, October 22, 2005 at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Iva, SC on April 27, 1922 Mr. Mauldin was the son of the late Pickett C. Mauldin and Eula Brown Mauldin. He was retired from Jackson Mills and was a WW II veteran having served with the Navy Air Corp. Mr. Mauldin was also a member of Iva 1st Wesleyan Church where he served as Sunday School Superintendent for many years. In addition to his wife of 63 years, he is survived by three sons, Allen Mauldin of Chapin, SC, Bill Mauldin of Greenville, SC; and Charles Mauldin of Conway, SC; a daughter, Sherrie Mauldin of the home; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Ella Ree Wiles and Eula Lee Sands both of Iva. Mr. Mauldin was preceded in death by two brothers, John Henry Mauldin, and T.B. Mauldin, and a sister, Leecie Mauldin. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 24, 2005 at 11:00 am at The Iva 1st Wesleyan Church in Iva, SC, officiated by the Reverends Wade Rogers and Bentley McQuinn. Burial will follow in the Iva City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, October 23, 2005 from 6-8 pm. Mr. Mauldin will be placed in the church at 10:00 am Monday. The family will be at their respective homes. Memorials may be made to Iva 1st Wesleyan Church P.O.
