Gloria Uree Martin Sears, age 89, of Anderson, SC, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023, at her home. Born April 8, 1933, in Oconee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ethel Eliza Henderson Martin. She was married for 67 years to Henry Dewease "Jack" Sears until his death in 2017. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Suzanne Sears; grandson, Eric Miles; two brothers and one sister. Uree's first and last job was at Mac's Dry Cleaners. She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Sears Peluso; son, Tony Sears (Brad Levenson); grandchildren, Amy Rhodes (Kenny); granddaughter-in-law, Kris Miles; great grandchildren, James Miles (Kaileigh), Tyler Miles (Amanda), Luke Rhodes (Alexis Butler), Olivia Rhodes Young (Ben), London Rhodes, MacKenzie Miles, Jessica Miles Black (Drake); and great-great grandchildren, Elise and Julian Miles. A private funeral will be held Sunday in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. She will be buried next to her husband at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Flowers are accepted.
