Valley McCall Vaughn, age 90, of 409 McClain Road, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2009, at the An Med Health Medical Center. Born in Easley, SC, on May 30, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Al McCall and Ellen Garrin McCall. Mrs. Vaughn retired from the textiles industry after fifty years of service ' having worked at the Alice Mill, Anderson Mill, and Toxaway Mill. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.Survivors include her children: son, Robert D. Vaughn, Jr., and wife, Debra of Anderson, SC; daughters: Margaret Ashley, Frances Mitchell and husband, Freddie, and Valane Smith, all of Anderson, SC; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.In addition to her parents; her husband, Robert D. Vaughn, Sr; three brothers and two sisters predeceased her.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 12:30 pm until 1:30pm on Tuesday, November 17, 2009. The Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 2pm conducted by the Reverend Terry Mitchell. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
