Franklin and a daughter of the late Elmer Eugene Bratcher and Hattie Smith Bratcher. She was a 1946 graduate of Girls' High School and a member of Dickson Memorial United Methodist Church. Mrs. Franklin was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include her sons, Brent Franklin and his wife, Pam and Stuart Franklin and his wife, Julie, all of Greenville; son-in-law, Rusty Harter of Greenville; sister, Marian Bratcher Chamblee of Anderson; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.A daughter, Cindy Harter and a brother, Felton Bratcher preceded her in death.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2009 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Paul C. Mitchell.
