VELMA RICHARDSON WILEY February 18, 1934 - May 30, 2006ANDERSON, SCMrs. Velma Richardson Wiley, age 72, of 1027 Southern Acres, wife of the late Tommy G. Wiley, died Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at the Hospice House in Anderson.Born in Seneca, SC on February 18, 1934, Mrs. Wiley was a daughter of the late Horace Richardson and Lillian Gibson Richardson. She was retired from J. P. Stevens Company and was a member of West Anderson Church of God.Survivors include a son, Steve Wiley of La France, SC; daughter, Wanda Labus and her husband, David of Jasper, AL; brother, Doug Richardson of Salem, SC; sister, Fenedra Hornick of Martin, GA; three grandchildren, Michael Wiley, and his wife, Amber, Angela Gambrell and her husband, Matt and Lynn Labus and one great-granddaughter, Sydney Gambrell.A sister, Patsy Wilbanks, preceded her in death.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2006 at 2:00 pm at West Anderson Church of God officiated by the Reverends Mark Daniel, John Daniel and James Shealy. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens in Clemson, SC.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mrs. Wiley will be placed in the church at 1:30 pm on Thursday.The family will be at the residence.Flowers are optional.
