Williams of 2102 Karen Lane, Anderson, SC, died Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at the Anderson Area Medical Center in Anderson, SC.Born in Oconee County, SC on June 25, 1920, Mrs. Williams was a daughter of the late Harry B. Barnum and Hasty Graham Barnum. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church where in her service to God, was formerly a GA Leader, Senior Citizen Group Leader, a former Church Hostess and a member of the Sunshine Mother's Sunday School class. She was a former textile employee having worked at Abney Mills, Toxaway Plant and later retired from Wamsutta Mills. Survivors include a son, Howard Douglas Ivester and his wife Lisa of Anderson, SC; a daughter, Carolyn S. Wilson and her husband, Larry of Anderson, SC; a sister, Arie Elizabeth Barnum Mennix of Anderson, SC; seven grandchildren, Catherine Wilson Foster of Marietta, GA, Stephen L. Wilson of South Bend, IN, Ken A. Wilson, Roger D. Wilson, Jessica E. Ivester, Andrew D. Ivester and Katlyn L. Ivester, all of Anderson, SC; five great-grandchildren, Garrison G. Foster of Marietta, GA, Matthew K. Wilson of Anderson, SC, Brent H. Foster and Cullen A. Foster, both of Marietta, GA and Alexander P. Wilson of Anderson, SCIn addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Barnum Carithers and Viola Barnum Shanklin.Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 19, 2005 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverends Mike Fitzpatrick and Steve Silvey. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson, SC.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 18, 2005 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be the residence, 2102 Karen Lane, Anderson, SC.Flowers are optional.
