Vera Poole Bragg, 93, of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020 at her home. Born August 15, 1926 in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Ansel G. Poole and Mamie Gwinn Poole. Vera was a member of Trinity Springs Church of God. She is survived by her daughters, Patsy Hanley (Michael) of Belton, SC and Judy West (Robert) of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Bud Hanley, Angie Stephens, Brandon West and Tiffany West; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Andrew, Christopher, Amber and Brooklyn; and great-great-grandchild, Shiloh. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, William H. Simpson and second husband, Carlos Bragg; and great-grandson, Matthew Hanley. The family will receive friends from 11:00am-12:00pm Friday, July 24, 2020 at Trinity Springs Church of God. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm with Rev. James Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Matthew's Hope, 921 Austin Rd., Honea Path, SC 29654.
