Vestal Junior Crotts, age 68, of Anderson, SC, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Rainey Hospice House.

Born January 30, 1957, in Carroll County, VA, he was the son of the late Vestal Crotts and Violet Crotts Hawks. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather who raised him, Ray Hawks; sisters, Shirley Isaacs and Glenda Faye Hawks; and brother, Buddy Hawks.

He enjoyed fishing and riding the bus with his friends.

He is survived by his sister, Tina Edwards of Mt. Airy, NC; niece, Michelle Lyons; nephews, Cory Haynes, Larry Hawks, and Matthew Johnson; special great nieces, Lyla Lyons and Eliza Haynes; several other great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Melinda Fricks; and special friends, Keith McAbee, Wayne Eddie Griffin, Mike Majewsky, and Mitzi Marshall.

Services will be held at a later date. Anderson Simple Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
