VICKIE BURDEN October 2, 1951 - June 3, 2012 Vickie Diane Adams Burden, age 60, of 2110 Karen Lane, Anderson, died Sunday, June 3, 2012, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Demorest, GA, she was a daughter of the late Sam Adams and the late Janell Allison Adams. Vickie was a Radiology Transcription Supervisor at AnMed Medical Center. Survivors include her husband, Frankie Burden of the home; a son, Kevin Thomas and his wife, Diane of Aiken, SC; a brother, Edwin Adams and his wife, Cissy, of Sautee, GA; 3 sisters, Valorie Ashe of Clarksville, GA, Vylesa Gerrish and her husband Ron of Anderson, and Vivian Osborn and her husband, Dwayne of Hiawassee, GA. Three grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Burden was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Adams. A funeral service celebrating the life of Vickie Burden will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at 11 AM, at the McDougald Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dan Eller officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday from 7 PM until 9 PM.
