Vickie Wingfield Lamons, age 70, of Anderson, SC, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born July 3, 1951, in Waynesboro, VA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Alexander Wingfield and Annie Beatrice Coleman Wingfield. Vickie loved celebrating holidays, especially July 4th and Christmas and she enjoyed shopping. She is survived by her son, Robert Charles Lamons; daughters, Christina R. Medlin (Shana) and Jacqueline Lamons; brothers, Gary Wingfield (Sylvia) and David Wingfield (Joan); sisters, Jeanie Jones and Karen Link (Jerry); grandchildren, Brandy Butler, Briana Cleveland, Brenasia Jasmin, Brikyah Jasmin, Ian Duncan, Chayanne Anderson, Tatiyana Lamons, Robert Lamons, Jr., Jade Williams, Jamie Beverley, and Susie Beverley; and 9 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Angie Campbell. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 27, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Friday, April 29, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Waynesboro FM Church, 600 Hopeman Parkway, Waynesboro, VA 22980, with Rev. Mark Wingfield officiating. Burial will follow the service at Augusta Memorial Park in Waynesboro. Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes and Crematory are handling the funeral service arrangements.
