Vickie Diane Barnes Loskoski, 76, of Anderson, SC peacefully entered eternal rest on Monday, June 13, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Born August 14, 1945, she was a daughter of the late James Campbell Barnes and the late Ola Mae Meeks Barnes. Vickie graduated from T.L. Hanna High School in 1963 and spent her working career in Human Resources. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, sister and "Grandma" who enjoyed helping others. She touched countless lives from lending an ear, or giving hugs, to creating beautifully crocheted baby blankets. She loved everyone, but her life was her family. Vickie trusted and believed in her Savior and her family is comforted to know she is now pain-free and resting in Heaven. Left to cherish Vickie's memory are her children, Susan Dorsey of Anderson, Ed Dorsey (Cristy) of Anderson, Ted Dorsey (Susan) of Charleston, and Frankie Dorsey (Melody) of Anderson; brother Bo Barnes (Alice); sisters, Sherry Burdette (Jerry) and Juanita Thomas; grandchildren, Cody, Madelyn, Kaleb, Kathryn, Megan, Olivia (Crystal), Christa, Samantha (Spencer), Tabitha (Will) and Samantha (Justin); and great grandchildren, Conner, Kaladin, Sky, Saniyon, Madi, Kelsey, Luke, Makenzie, Audrey, Lilly, Bentley, and Eli; and great granddaughters, Tori and Gracie who have been by her side, in her home and heart, for many years. In addition to Vickie's parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Addie Mae Barnes Farrow and brothers-in-law, Jim Thomas and Yank Thomas. The funeral service will be held at Hopewell Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at 2 pm with Reverend Dalton T. Fowler officiating. The family will greet friends at the Church prior to the service from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Those serving as pallbearers are Cody Moore, Enoch Thomas, Timmy Barnes, Saniyon Chester, Kaleb Dorsey, Spencer Chester, and Bobo Barnes.
