Vincent Dominick Doniere, age 78, passed away peacefully, Friday, October 30, 2015 at the University Medical Center, Greenville, SC. Vincent was born October 18, 1937, in Toledo, Ohio to the late Patrick and Pauline (nee Sempervive) Doniere. He was a 1956 National Golden Glove Champion and an Olympics finalist. In addition, Vincent was national and North American weightlifting champion as a member of Torio Health Club, Toledo. In 1960 Vince was named Mr. Toledo. Vincent worked for Dana Corporation, was a realtor with Marie Holsinger realty, and served in the United States Navy Reserves. Vincent had a positive influence on his family regarding; health, life, and education as he tried to impart this on to all.
Vincent is survived by his Brothers; Robert (Trudy), Joseph (Jan), Nick. Sisters; Rose (Darryl) Dziedzic, Patricia (Tim) Fish, Virginia (Tony) Lucarelli, Barbara (Matthew) Wichmann, Mary Craig, Julie (Fred) Grand, and Theresa (Rex) Wilcox. He is also survived by 38 nieces and nephews. Vincent was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Patrick, Jr., and sister-in-law Judy (Cotter) Doniere, and nephew Robert Jr., Doniero.
