Mrs. Swaney retired from Central Textiles and was of the Baptist Faith. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.Survivors include her son, Steve M. Swaney and his wife, Miriam of Abbeville; daughter-in-law, Deeva Swaney of Anderson; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.A son, James William Swaney preceded her in death.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Dr. Jack Couch.
