Emma Virginia Manning, 99, of Iva, SC, passed away, Thursday, January 14, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born September 4, 1921, in Abbeville County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Leftridge Clinkscales Manning and Selma Virginia Burton Manning. Virginia was a graduate of Iva High School and used her exceptional talent as a seamstress for many years. She was a member of Union Baptist Church where she formerly served as the organist and pianist, a Sunday School teacher and was active in the Seniors group. Virginia was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her brothers, Robert Cleland Manning of Iva, SC, Walter Haskell Manning of Iva, SC and Timothy Hugh Manning, Sr. (Joyce) of Starr, SC. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Zerfley Ibzan Manning, Emory Claude Manning and Norman Donald Manning. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, from 1:00-2:30 pm at Union Baptist Church, Iva, SC. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Kyle Caudell officiating. Burial will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
