VIRGINIA ROUDAAnderson, SCMrs. Cora Virginia Pinson Rouda of 707 Woodfield Drive died on Friday, December 29, 2006.Born in Belton on September 5, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Clincie Dwatt Pinson and Cora Medlock Pinson. Mrs. Rouda retired from Southern Bell and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Carolina Bridge Club and the Telephone Pioneers. She had previously been named the Clemson Extension Club Homemaker of the Year. Mrs. Rouda was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was also a member of the Helen Opt Circle and also the Wesley Sunday School Class.She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Herbert Rouda of the home; daughters, Shelia V. Rouda of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida and Charlene Silver and her husband, Gene of Marietta, Georgia; brother, Joe F. Pinson of Belton; sisters, Martha Pinson Manry and Mary Alice Dobbins Miller, both of Anderson; step grandchildren, Addie Ries and her husband, Brad of Raleigh, North Carolina and Ashley Silver of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and a step great granddaughter, Annie Ries.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Benjamin Pinson of Belton.The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 31, 2006 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverend Frank Lybrand officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
